Domestic 3 – 2025

TSI

It was always going to be tough for the Black Panthers this week. Star player Mani was on loan to the Guangzhou Scorpions, J-Mac was still unavailable due to injury and a host of other key players were also unavailable. They did pick up new Tiger, AJ, who kicked a goal with his first touch of the footy, and Juzza, passing through Bangkok for the weekend who kicked three. But the Golden Jackals, at almost full strength, were just too strong. Welby had a field day up front and kicked a bag without breaking a sweat. Had he not cruelly pulled his hammy just before half-time he may have broken some Tigers records. Samo scratched himself off the injury list and took Welby’s place. Sammo was slightly more mobile than a hamstrung Welby and was rewarded with two goals. So the Jackals avenged their heavy defeat in Domestic 1 but not by as much as they hoped. The forty point win will help get the points differential down but as the season progresses they might regret not kicking a few more goals on a day when they had the Panthers on the ropes.

The Golden Jackals (13.6.84 ) defeated the Black Panthers (7.4.46)
